Firefox

Firefox blocks trackers by default, syncs tabs and passwords with the desktop browser, and on Android supports extensions such as content blockers.

Why we picked it: it is the easiest way to get a quieter, faster web on a phone.

Watch out for: on iPhone the engine is still Apple's, so extensions are limited.
