Privacy policy

Last updated 14 October 2026. This page explains what AppsPicks (appspicks.com) collects and why. We keep it short on purpose.

What we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address, password (stored as a hash), username, bio and optional profile image when you create an account.
  • Content you publish: submissions, reviews and upvotes. Reviews and submissions are public and shown with your profile name.
  • Outbound clicks: when you follow a store or deal link we log the destination, the page you came from and your browser type so we can report results to partners. We do not log your IP address with these clicks.
  • Session cookies: one cookie keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

What we do with it

We use account data to run your account, content data to run the site, and click data to pay our bills through affiliate and partner programmes. We do not sell personal data and we do not send marketing email without asking first.

Third parties

The site is hosted on infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf. Outbound links take you to the App Store, Google Play, developer websites and partner networks, each with their own privacy terms. Images you add by URL are loaded from the host you chose.

Your rights

You can edit your profile at any time from the settings page. To export or delete your account and everything attached to it, email [email protected] from the address on the account. We answer within 30 days.

Children

AppsPicks is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note it here and update the date at the top.
