Halide

Halide gives you manual focus, exposure, RAW capture and a focus-peaking view in a gesture-driven interface. Process Zero skips Apple's computational processing for a natural look.

Why we picked it: it is the closest thing to a dedicated camera on a phone.

Watch out for: iPhone only, and it costs money.
