In one app you can browse a catalog of more than a million audiobooks and podcasts, including Audible Originals you won't find elsewhere, then listen on your phone, watch, car or Alexa speaker. It suits commuters, gym-goers and anyone who wants to get through more books without sitting down to read. It also helps people who find printed text hard going.
Day to day, it works like a polished media player. You download titles for offline listening, adjust narration speed, set a sleep timer, and drop bookmarks and notes as you go. Car Mode gives you large, simple controls for driving, and Wear OS support lets you leave the phone at home on a run. Discovery leans on curated collections and an AI assistant called Maven that takes plain-language requests.
