Modes include Gem Grab, Showdown (a solo or duo battle royale), Brawl Ball, Bounty and Heist, many in 3v3 or 5v5 formats. It suits players who want competitive action in short bursts, alone or with friends.
Matches are brief, so it fits a commute or a coffee break. The twin-stick controls are simple to pick up, but learning each Brawler and how they work on each map takes much longer. Progress comes from unlocking and upgrading Brawlers over time, and frequent updates rotate modes and add characters and skins.
