Call of Duty: Mobile packs the long-running shooter series into a free phone game. You get quick 5v5 multiplayer on familiar maps such as Nuketown, Shipment, Raid and Standoff, a full battle royale mode with squads and vehicles, a zombies mode, ranked play with seasonal rewards, and DMZ: Recon, an extraction mode where you take contracts, fight other squads and try to get out with your loot. It suits anyone who wants proper console-style shooting on a phone, especially existing Call of Duty fans.
Day to day it plays smoothly, with touch controls you can rearrange, controller support, and voice and text chat for playing with friends. Matches are short enough for a break, and seasonal updates keep adding maps, modes and limited-time playlists. Expect a constant stream of battle passes, events and store offers between rounds.
